Centerpieces “Yaburegoushi” & “Bokashi”

Watabun has continued its century-old business in Kyoto's Nishijin district (famous for producing silk textile), dedicating itself to the manufacture of silk kimono sash, “obi”, with the ancestral high-quality weaving technique “Nishijin-ori” which uses gold and silver threads.

This technique dates back to the 15th century in Kyoto for the creation of patterns and models with dyed threads destinated to kimono. These splendid textiles can be last a whole life.

Entrusted with the work of restoring “Noh” theater costumes by its remarkable expertise. WATABUN also proposes decorative home texitiles.
